How long has the farm been open to the public?
This fall is the sixth year Hill Creek Farms will be in operation.
Is membership required?
No, Hill Creek Farms is open to the public.
What is the cost of leasing three trees?
Sets of three trees (Jonagold, Cameo and Fuji, growing side-by-side) are available for $225.
Are pets allowed on the farm?
Due to insurance regulations, pets are not allowed on the farm.
October 5th “Fall Fun Day ” … at Hill Creek Farms (10-5 Rain date)
We invite our community and others to celebrate and share in our Fall Fun Day Festival. It offers a break from the stress of everyday living with pure and simple, honest-to-goodness family fun. It’s a time when families can reconnect with each other and with the outdoors to make special memories that last a lifetime. We have pumpkins of all sizes, shapes. Fall decorations, gourds, corn stalks, Indian Corn, straw bales and much more! So grab the kids and come visit us on our Fall Fun Day this year where, admission and parking is always free. See you at the farm! Don’t forget the camera.
Here’s what you can expect:
Pick-Your-Own Apples, & Choose your favorite Pumpkin
- Free live music from the Texas Wranglers Bluegrass Band
- Free Tractor Rides
- Pony rides
- Free Face Painting
- Donut bobbing contest held at 11:00am and 3:00pm for ages 5-11yrs
- Pie Eating Contests held at 11:00 & 2:00pm age 12yrs and over held under the pavilion (see below for rules)
- Apple Pie, Caramel Apples, Cider donuts, and other fresh goodies from our new bakery
- Free- Playground with slide, Tire Mountain, and games
- Jumbo Moon Bounce
- Barrel train rides
- Pumpkin catapult will go off every hour on the hour.
- Free - Whacky Water Pump Duck Racing
- Crafters welcome.
- Gem Stone Mining with prize giveaways for that special find.
- Old-Fashioned Hot Cider Donuts - watch them being made.
- Make-your-own Scarecrow. Just for fun we supply the twine and straw, then you can bring your finished scarecrow home and decorate your porch.
Ladies, we have many new crafts for sale in the barn. This event is a hit every year. Mark your calendar; you sure wouldn’t want to miss this special day!

We would like to thank you for making this a fantastic Fall Season! We will be reopening in late August for the 2015 season. We expect a full harvest, and we hope to see you then.
