How long has the farm been open to the public?
This fall is the sixth year Hill Creek Farms will be in operation.
Is membership required?
No, Hill Creek Farms is open to the public.
What is the cost of leasing three trees?
Sets of three trees (Jonagold, Cameo and Fuji, growing side-by-side) are available for $225.
Are pets allowed on the farm?
Due to insurance regulations, pets are not allowed on the farm.
October 25th Fall Fun Day
A very special day planned for the kids and everyone. A scavenger hunt will go on in our back orchard for those that buy a ticket for $5.00 You will receive a bag for your apples with a ticket to get into the back orchard fun, and a scavenger hunt sheet to find your apples at six different stations.
- After paying for your ticket at the information desk at the front of our barn You will receive a bag for your apples with a ticket to get into the back orchard fun, and a scavenger hunt sheet to find your apples at six different stations.
- There you will be greeted at the gate to receive instructions for a Fun experience in our orchard.
- Mr. Apple will be in the back orchard for your visit so don’t forget the camera!
- At each station that you find on your hunt their will be a basket of delicious sweet apples, so take one to place in your bag with a treat, then you proceed to the next station their are six in all.
- When you are finished filling your bag with apples then you may play the games and receive a prize. Potato sack race, Apple Spoon Relay, Donut Bobbing, Pumpkin ring toss, Witch hat ring toss…Pumpkin bean bag toss...etc.
- A balloonist will be on hand for a special balloon of your choice between 12:00-and 3:00 in the back orchard only.
- After you are finished you will then board back onto the "Happy Fun Day Wagon” back to the barn where you may enjoy our Bounce House, Gem Mining, Whacky Water Pump Duck Races, or just simply shop for goodies in our barn market, or from our bakery.
- What a sure bet to have a "Happy Fall Fun Day” to remember at Hill Creek Farms.
We are closed for the 2014 Season
We would like to thank you for making this a fantastic Fall Season! We will be reopening in late August for the 2015 season. We expect a full harvest, and we hope to see you then.
